We are interested to hear of Higher Education Institutions that share the ambitions of the Fellowship and are keen to be involved. If your Higher Education Institution is not currently partnered with the ABF and you’d like to apply for the Programme, ask your tutor to contact us to find out more.

2018 -2023 Step Change Programme

Our Higher Education Institution (HEI) partners selected, managed and hosted the participating artists, referred to as ‘ABF Step Change Fellows’. Graduating students who are understood to have been disadvantaged through social, cultural or economic circumstances and would be unable to develop their practice due to their financial situation were invited to submit a written application to their HEI outlining their ambitions as an artist and how they feel participation in the Step Change Programme would help them achieve these. After reviewing all applications, the HEI made a selection based on the best fit with the criteria outlined above.
